Building Preparation & Progress
Six people from Adelaide came for two weeks to help us on the property. They did a great job under the hot tropical sun.

Preparation Work
Close to the river we wanted to make sure that the property is well above the rising tide and pesky future climate change problem.

Truck loads of dirt fill had been making their way to our property. This has to be done before the foundation is to be laid.

Right: Raising the Whole Block Half A Metre
This is the latest of the building and construction work for mid 2008.
Grace
A new iron gate to go with the new brick wall on our adjacent block.
While we're waiting for building permission, work are still being done on the property. Our two adjoining blocks now has a new brick fence right around it. A new footpath is finished also. It is starting to look really good. Two larger gates for larger vehicles and a smaller side door for motorbikes and people to use.
