* Computer classes
* Business studies
Those physically disabled should have a certain degree of mobility to get around either in a wheelchair or walking stick and have the capacity to be educated with training for future employment.
Physically disabled and orphaned children will need to be young enough so they can have extended input in education, vocational training and rehabilitation, installing in them from an early age what they need to have to cope with all life’s situations and challenges. This will give them a greater chance of success for future employment and incorporation back into the community.
Medical Care & Rehabilitation
Basic medical health care will be provided onsite with a doctor and a nurse. Disadvantaged Children with Physical Disability (DCWD) attending our classes will also be able to gain rehabilitation for this disability for greater mobility and health. Disabled equipment will be provided for those with greatest need.
Career Guidance & Counseling
Each child will be assessed as to their potentials for future employment. Education and training will be provided according to our assessment.
Handicrafts & Employment
Part-time classes will be taught to help older disabled children learn a trade to help them find employment. E.g. Arts & Crafts, tailoring & sewing, haircutting, English, computing, etc.
Community Services
Social & Healthcare workers trained by us, as well as volunteers will be sent two by two into homes in the communities to educate families with children disability to how best care for their child. Disadvantaged children in the community will get special attention and assistance if needed.
